Applications Open for Community Food Micro-Grants

The Cost of Living Crisis has made it harder to afford healthy food and communities are in the best position to know how to respond to what their local area needs.

We’re inviting 3 communities in Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin to come together over food and explore how we can make Shropshire a better place to live.

We can offer up to £1,000 funding to help get your project started. It might be cooking, a shared community meal, growing, setting up a community pantry or creating a food resilience action plan.

We can help you bring people together to understand what the issues are with food in your community, what you already have to build on and to identify a food project which you’d like to work on together. By community we mean a community of place: a village or town or area.

If you’d like to get involved please fill in this short form before 22nd January 2024 or contact katy@shropshiregoodfood.org for more information.
